Biography

Dr Dina Ghanma (she/her) is visiting faculty in Finance at the UCL School of Management. She is the Director of PG-Taught Finance at the ICMA Centre, Henley Business School, University of Reading where she is a Lecturer (Assistant Professor) in Corporate Finance and Sustainable Finance.

At the UCL SoM, Dina is primarily involved in supervising MSc Finance dissertations on a variety of topics, including Time Series Modelling (incl. Machine Learning), Green Finance (ESG, SRI, CSR), Behavioural Finance, and Corporate Finance. Dina has also contributed to the assessment of students on numerous modules, including Mergers and Valuations, Corporate Financial Strategy, Hedge Fund Strategies, and Investment Management.

Dina obtained her PhD in Empirical ESG Finance, MSc in Financial Research, and BSc in Finance and Investment Banking from the ICMA Centre, Henley Business School at the University of Reading. Her past teaching activities include a Sessional Lectureship at ESCP London and Northeastern Univeristy London and numerous Associate Lecturer appointments for modules like Portfolio Management, Financial Econometrics, and Securities, Futures and Options. Dina has won and been nominated for multiple teaching awards, where her keen engagement and high-level subject area expertise were regularly commended by students and colleagues. Dina holds the CFA UK’s Investment Management Certificate and the CFA Institute’s Sustainable Investing Certificate while pursuing the CFA Charter, having already passed CFA Level 1.
