I am a Ph.D. candidate in the Strategy and Entrepreneurship group at UCL School of Management. Before joining UCL, I earned my B.A. in Economics and Management from the University of Oxford.

My research explores how workers pursue autonomy and meaning in emerging work contexts marked by novel forms of control and evaluation. Using qualitative methods, I study settings that exemplify broader transformations in work – from digital creative freelancing to Uber driving – to develop theory about how workers experience, reinterpret, and sometimes reject autonomy and meaningfulness at work.

I also research advances in qualitative methodology and theory development. My recent work on how generative AI can support the interpretation of empirical observations in qualitative research is forthcoming in Strategic Organization. My research has also been published in Organizational Psychology Review.
